Emory University emphasizes integrating research, teaching, and health care across multiple professions and traditional administrative units and leveraging university resources to capitalize on its highly collaborative culture.

More than 400 faculty members from more than two dozen departments and centers across the University are working today in basic or clinical neurosciences. A few of these departments include such diverse fields as theology, nursing, law, psychology, political science, philosophy, anthropology, radiology, pharmacology, emergency medicine, and human genetics.
